Pallet Strapping Machine...for fruit and vegetable packers such as tomato growers, packhouse operators, companies that use plastic strap to secure trays/barrels of foodstuffs and chemicals onto pallets frequently do the job manually and this proves to be very time consuming, costly and a tiring part of the packaging process. Automated pallet strapping systems are very expensive and not always suited to the layout of factories i.e feeding all product through one fixed strapping machine, and therefore this unique, low cost maintenance free strapping machine is attracting alot of new users as it enables them cut the time and effort to apply horizontal straps to pallets anywhere for a very low outlay.
Simply pre-drape the number of plastic straps required across the front of the unit and push it around the pallet, to precisely place - simultaneously - up to 3 straps as required. Place the two ends of the strap into a strapping tool to finish the operation.... that's it!
Strap height and pitch can be easily/quickly adjusted, and swivel castors at the rear of the unit make it very manoeuvrable.
Access to the rear corners of the unit allows for placement of corner protection pieces and an overhead storage tray for the strapping tool enables the operator to do the job easily and in half the time taken by conventional manual methods. Some applications call for two static versions of this machine, mounted side by side so that they can be worked by operator and fork lift alternately.
