Pallet Strapping Machine Model VP3 - 3 Vertical Straps

PSCL ImageThe Model VP3 Strap-Poka Pallet Strapper simultaneously places three straps around a pallet or similar unit load in approx 10 seconds - much quicker than any other manual method and far easier too. It's used for applications that require a central strap as well as the conventional two strap placements, although it can of course be used for ordinary two strap placements simply by ommiting to 'lace up' the central strap position.

The more straps the Strap-Pokas simultaneously apply the greater the saving in time, and in this instance the unit reduced by 65% the time taken to strap output.

Method of operation is simple: The operator simply pulls strap from the top gantry and 'swipes' it into the automatic strap gripper located in the toe of each fork - it's virtually as fast as you can read this instruction. The  Pallet Strapping Machine is then pushed into the pallet - it goes in easier than a pallet truck as the forks 'float' - there are no wheels under them to bump over bottom pallet boards - to simultaneously place three straps thru the pallet voids, down the back and over the top or the pallet - that's all the hard work done!

All that remains is for the operator to go to the front of the pallet and pull the strap from the toe of the fork - it automatically releases - then reach overhead to pull down the other side of the strap loop to put them both into a friction weld tool to finish the operation in the normal way. Cycle time from start to finish is between 60 - 80 seconds per pallet.

Subsequent orders for Strap Poka Pallet Strapping Machines specified height adjustable forks so the pallets could be strapped both on the ground at at conveyor level.
